    Hi, I'm using the Canon EOS 400D, with the following lenses:

    EF70-300mm 4.5-5.6 DO IS (used for the birds here)
    EF 24-105 F4L IS USM (used for the fox cub here)
    Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG macro (used for the insects here)

    I never use a tripod, but I am quite keen to get one so that I can start playing with long exposures.

    Excellent- I may be biased towards the creepy-crawlies, but will add that those are very fine pictures of dragon-flies and scorpion-fly.
