A Very Quiet Day

The title really says it all. Another wet day (mixed with mist) and although it's dry this evening the foxes have kept away. So just a couple of photos tonight of the latest arrivals at Falmer Pond: a small clutch of moorhen chicks. There are actually four of them, but one was taking a morning swim when I took these shots.

Adele, These were very young indeed when I got the shots. It's strange how sleek they become at the juvenile stage and then manage to lose their looks again as they turn into adults.
