The foxes are nothing if not inventive, and this young fox decided that the best place to be was on top of a group of garden sacks. He was caching some food in one of the bags, presumably on the basis that this is one hiding place his siblings might miss.
His ear still looks a bit nasty. I don’t think it’s particularly getting worse and it isn’t bothering him too much, but I’m keeping a watchful eye.

It may be that it's got to the itching, irritating stage, and he can't leave it alone.
Besides that it look healthy, hopefully it will not develop into something really bad :left:
But that's what the sacks were there for :whistle:
Some foxes just seem to have chronic ear problems, unfortunately.
Ear mites, maybe … but the others would almost certainly get them, too.
