Everything is back to normal on the South Coast. Sunshine and blue skies, and the last remnants of the melting snow.
Black-headed gulls have already donned their summer garb…
A large white duck admires her own reflection in the still, cool water.
And in the corner of the churchyard, a pigeon soars into an evergreen tree.
Camera note: all shots taken with the Canon 7D and EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM.

17 Mar 2013The snow is surviving in the shovelled heaps here, but mostly it's just wet and muddy. Again.
I like the optimism of the gulls.

17 Mar 2013Mark, I couldn't agree more. All we ever seem to get is rain. Maybe a couple of ok days, and then it's back to the rain. I really hope this year isn't as bad as last year.

17 Mar 2013Adele, mud everywhere here too 🙁 One warm day and the gulls were all too eager to think that spring had arrived. I bet they're feeling a little foolish now 🙂
