After yesterday’s excitement with the first photos of a fox cub in the garden, I decided to see what the trail camera had captured over the past week or so. The cubs have been more frequent visitors than I’d realized. Sometimes just one or two, but there were a couple of clips with five tiny fox cubs in the garden. You can see the video (plus three adults) at the end of this entry.

Meanwhile it won’t come as much of a surprise that I was back in the garden this evening. This time, no adult… but two cubs turned up. Their visit was fairly brief as a barking dog in a neighbouring garden sent them scurrying back to the safety of their den. Or possibly to another friendly garden. I swear I heard the distinctive sound of fork on tin from over the fences. Anyway, here’s what I saw this evening.

And now a video treat. The clips are taken over several nights and a brief glimpse of some of the late night garden activity.

Camera note: all photos taken with the Canon 7D Mark II and EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM lens. Video from a Bushnell Trophy Cam HD.
