Spiders Mating Ritual
I’ve taken advantage of the poor weather to put up another sequence in the Behaviour section, this time of a pair of garden spiders going through their mating ritual.
Some of these sequences are also available on my hobbyist site but I’m being more selective with the choices over here.
On the technical side I’ve installed WP Super Cache which may help with loading speed, though I suspect the differences will be marginal.
Wood Mouse
The gradual development of the site continues. The latest addition is a sub-section on mammals (the foxes will be under a menu of their own), and a gallery featuring some intimate portraits of wood mice.
A new menu item added under the heading ‘Behaviour’. I’ll be using this to add miscellaneous items of interest where something doesn’t easily sit within the main sections.
The first entry is a sequence of photos of leopard slugs mating.
