Just Ducks

I tend to ignore the ducks when I visit Falmer Pond but there was little going on today and the ducks were being unusually cooperative (i.e. flying the length of the pond rather than dabbling).

We have a Toad

Delighted to discover that we have a very fine resident toad in the garden. Unlike frogs, they are very purposeful in their movements, and ‘freeze’ if you look at them for too long. This one seems to enjoy roaming around the front of the garden, and clambers up and over any manner of obstacle.

Sweltering Foxes

As the heat continues unabated the foxes are trying to do as little as possible during the day. Here’s a selection of photos of Scamp (4-5 months old) and Pretty (16-17 months old) out in the garden today.
