Badger Portraits (photo special)

I spent an exceptional few minutes in the garden this evening with one of our young badgers. I was 10-15 feet away and used the 70-300 zoom lens. This is a small selection of the images. There are more from tonight in set #2 over on my Badger gallery .

Wow! These are really good! A real intimate feeling to them.

dW, thanks. Using the zoom really helps get in close. The focal length varied between 150 and 300mm. On the longer ones I have to slow the shutter speed and open up the aperture a bit to get enough light in there from the flash.
