Black and White

Just a couple of contrasting shots. The first is from yesterday when one of the local cormorants popped down to the pond at Falmer.

And from today, a pair of the cutest white ducks you could imagine.

And that's about it for tonight. Short and sweet.

Nice shots, Words … the ducks are indeed cute, and I'm always surprised by how low in the water a cormorant will float. I suppose the low buoyancy is what enables them to chase fish so well underwater … I have watched one pursue a school of fish, and catch one.

dW, take a look at this shot of a cormorant at work. A runner up in wildlife photographer of the year.

Are you implying that the contrast is measured in 'cuteness' as well? 😉
