Of all the young foxes we have visiting, there is one who stands out. We’ve called him Black Tail, after his magnificent dark brush. He’s a tall young fox, and very elegant. He’s also well-behaved and quite bold. I suspect he may be developing a wider range than the other foxes as he frequently disappears down the side of the house, rather than retreating to the rear of the garden.

    1. Just catching up! Yes, he was definitely boss, but also the first the disappear as autumn arrives. Odd, but I guess he will be more confident about taking new territory.
