Yet more rain today, though the signs are looking slightly better for the next few days. So for the time-being it's more macro shots from the garden. The bush cricket from last night was back on the same plant tonight. In fact there were two of them.

And elsewhere in the garden, hidden in the undergrowth, a hunter waits his moment…

How do you know those were the same crickets from last night?

Nice to see the cricket photos. They're so green compared to Sask grasshoppers!

  4. Adele, the crickets are a garden regular. The green is perfect camouflage but if I hunt around I can usually spot them.

  5. Marilyn, thanks! I couldn't quite get the angle I wanted, but at least I got a full view on that third shot.

  6. Darko, well I can't be sure but I suspect they pick a plant and stay put when they can.
