Call me Sherlock (deer stalking)

I donned a (virtual) deerstalker this morning :sherlock:
In the deep shade of the trees

Until she spotted me!

And made a dash out into the open field

Love those leaps!

A brief pause… and the she was gone

Darko, it's surprising just how high they leap. So much energy, so early in the morning.

Roe deer are so tricky to get near. When ive come across them its always been late in the day undercover or a white rump disappearing into the vegetation! So great photos!

Thanks Neil. They're incredibly alert. The first shot is the closest I got (they're all heavily cropped).
