An unusually, but welcome, clear day. Chilly, but there are still insects in the air and the little pied wagtails were making the most of the opportunity to feed.

Those were taken in the middle of the day. It had been misty earlier in the day, but the sun breaking through provided a beautiful view of the pond. This time of year can be very nearly perfect.

  1. Nice sequence! I didn’t see any insects lately but birds have their own way 🙂

    1. Darko, thanks. These are such pretty little birds. I saw lots of them on a roof at work today, but it was already getting too dark to photograph them.

  2. Love your Falmer Pond photo… I’ve just adopted it for my desktop if that’s okay with you. A beautiful image of one of my favourite places. Thank you for it and all the other great photos.

    1. Diane, I’m glad you liked the photo. Absolutely fine to use on your desktop.
