Pretty (plus an unknown fox)

Just two or three portraits of Pretty, the young fox, taken this evening.

She’s looking fine. The unknown fox mentioned in the title isn’t looking quite so good. He’s clearly suffering from mange and has significant loss of coat across his back. The short clip is the one and only time he’s been seen in the garden.

Camera note: all photos taken with the Canon 7D and EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM lens.

A Greedy Fox and a Hungry Badger

A short post tonight, with a food theme. First a couple of close-up shots of Pretty, helping herself to a markie biscuit from the garden wall. Just look at her eyes in the second shot. She’s a greedy little fox.

The second part of the post is a short sequence of a badger snaffling peanuts in the garden taken during the early hours of this morning.

Camera note: both photos taken with the Canon 7D and EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM lens.
