Cheeky Foot Update

Well the rain finally cleared away late this evening and I was able to spend a little time waiting to see if Cheeky would put in an appearance. She did, and this is her injured foot.
All better now!

As you can see the injury was very temporary and she's once again putting her full weight on the leg. She probably strained or bruised it. I couldn't see any obvious injury and her movement didn't betray any sign of a limp. While she was in the garden I too a few more shots. Here's a selection.

Before she showed up I took a look around the pond. There was a lone frog poking its head above the surface, but on closer inspection the dominant species were the damselfly nymphs. Expect more shots of these over the coming weeks (especially on 'slow' days when nothing else is around).

    Good to hear.

That frog must be in its element with all the recent weather! It looks awful this morning. I hope the airport isn't affected…

Adele, well I know you got off safely. The weather is not quite so bad here today (Monday), but was dire all weekend.
