The spawn is developing nicely, and the transformation from spherical blob to tadpole is now clearly visible. 
The newts are happy too!
I'll post more photos over the coming days. It won't be too long before the tiny gilled tadpoles emerge.

18 Mar 2012That will be interesting! I used to love catching tadpoles when I was a kid. I don't think my mother ever got over finding a bunch of them in the bathub.
