You're making me want a macro lens something fierce! But…I cannot afford one right now, so I'll just enjoy these pictures instead. Brilliant – the eyes, the bristles, the wings. Remarkable detail.
Thanks for the advice :up: I will try to prevent myself cracking until next year at least! 😆 although I could spend ages playing with one of these. Especially amongst the wildflowers in Alberta…
It took me a while to get used to it, but I love it now. If you do crack, the Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG macro is a great lens and as far as these things go very reasonably priced. The Tamron 90mm macro also has an excellent reputation.
