I was at Falmer this morning, and before going into work stopped at the village pond to see what was lurking. The mist was heavy, but a lone cormorant was on patrol. This is a short sequence just before it perched up on the No Fishing sign. They are a little grainy and I had to work to pull out some contrasts, but I liked the sense of movement in the shots. Better weather would be good!

  1. Interesting shots, Paul … you’ve caught the moments of a full stall beautifully!

    1. Thanks Charles! I’m not entirely happy with the processing, but the bird was on form!

  2. Raining in March? Isn’t that against the law? 😛
It is snowing here, for days now, luckily it is wet and not sticking a lot…

    1. Darko, it’s been a very mild winter here. A few little bits of snow but nothing to write home about. Not too much rain either. Would like a bit more sunshine though!
