(Embedding YouTube video in blog

With thanks to danipage for the help.

I'm using the easy route.

1) Select the embeddable player block listed on youtube.com underneath the video you want to embed.

2) replace the following three characters in the long url: /v/

with: /p.swf?video_id=

And it works! Nice 🙂

Edit: Actually I now just embed the 'embed link' from YouTube and it works fine. (March 2007)

    I don't know anything about PHBB (do you mean phpBB?), but I would just try the 'embed' link from YouTube page. If that doesn't work try checking out the phpBB support/community pages. Hope you get it working.

    Clare, these days I just use the standard embed code from the YouTube page, but glad this still works!
