Even Seagulls Yawn

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it, but this is really a seagull yawning!

    Yikes. That's a gullet, that is 🙂 When they say "never eat anything bigger than your head" they weren't talking to seagulls, apparently…:rolleyes:

    Thanks all!

    It was a bizarre moment. I was waiting for him (?) to take off when he opened his beak wide – and silently – stretched it wider in the yawn, and settled down again. No fox in sight at the time, but it's the same roof so maybe there's something in the air up there 😉
