I still can't quite believe how cold it still is for late May, but with another holiday weekend looming it's the time of year that cameras come out for all those family snapshots.

The Three Musketeers

And to close a few short video clips from last night and today. The first sequence shows how an adult fox deals with a troublesome cub 🙂

Camera note: birds taken with the Canon 7D and EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L USM IS lens. Fox cubs were with the EF 24-105 F4L IS USM lens. Video from the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD.

  1. Nice ones, Words … that vid is precious!

  2. Three Musketeers in serious and less formal edition 😀

  3. 😆 Well, if sitting on them works…

  4. Darko, I called them to look up for that first shot. It doesn't always work, but nice when it does.

  5. dW, thanks! That adult was behaving very badly. They obviously are now competing with their own offspring. :right:

  6. Adele, it's whole new take on your blog title! Or maybe that's what foxes think they're meant to do when asked to babysit!

  7. 😆
