Feeling better (the fox, that is)

Well there’s some good news with the young fox. He was much more mobile tonight, and although he was still limping a bit (and doing the odd three-legged skip) he was much more willing to walk on all fours. Whatever was causing the problem (tick? thorn?) seems to have shifted, so I would expect rapid improvement over the next day or so.

    They do have such dainty paws. No wonder they sink in when there's deep snow!
