We had sunshine today… well for most of the day. I was unlucky. It was sunny when I went out and sunny when I came home. In between a torrent of rain swept over the Downs. Needless to say most sensible creatures were seeking shelter, but in between the cloud bursts the local pigeons put on quite a display. You can click all of these to see larger versions.
One bright note… if the sun had been out I would have been aiming directly into it! Some other garden updates will have to wait until tomorrow.
Camera note: all shots taken with the Canon 40D and EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L USM IS lens.

They certainly put on a good display, which made it very easy.
Wow, impressive pics…as always!
Last one look unreal
Darko, thanks. The last shot was under-exposed but it had a good effect.
That's quite a crowd.
Today it's beautifully sunny but it's the village fete, and there's people everywhere :left: :right: :yikes:
Adele, they really shouldn't allow people at fĂȘtes! It's not right :insane:
