    Sprogger, the sudden appearance of clouds of buzzards is quite special. There are a few spots where I just have to wait a few minutes and several appear.

    Neil, I'm almost tripping over buzzards at the moment. Easier to find than kestrels, which is saying something.

    Lois, thanks. The buzzards are easily the most spectacular of the local raptors. They tend to fly in pairs, sometimes in larger groups.
