This is a short sequence captured last night on the trail camera. It's the first time I've filmed a vixen nursing a young fox cub, so I have to say that I'm really delighted to have this footage even if the quality is less than perfect.

24 Apr 2013Adele, thanks. A lot of luck that they stayed in shot, but I'm really pleased they did. Mum is very scruffy and has a bald patch near her shoulder. Not mange from what I've been able to see, but more like the bold vixen we had a few years ago… just loss of hair. Odd, but she seems healthy enough.
