Another day of gardening, which is fine by me. It started with a trip to the local recycling centre to deliver some sacks of 'green waste' from the garden. On my way back I spotted a kestrel and parked up to watch it. Here are a couple of shots of it hovering.

The third shot is an unhealthy crop, but I've included it as it shows the kestrel devouring what I think is a common lizard while maintaining a perfect flight pattern.

The rest of today's entry is (surprise, surprise!) devoted to the fox cubs. A pair of them came out late afternoon, just after I'd finished tidying away a large pile of loppings. I took a stupid number of photos of them, but these ones caught my eye on my quick flick through what I'd got.
