The cubs have been amazing, especially as the evenings have lengthened and the sun has beaten down. Here is a selection of shots taken over the past week. It’s a tiny sample of the hours I’ve spent outside with them.

Last one tonight, two of the cubs (the vixen and what I think is the second male cub – he has a magnificent black brush) arguing – as they do

  1. Lovely shots, Paul … you’ve certainly built a relationship with them, and you seem to have quite a little colony.

    1. Charles, there seem to be four regulars at the moment, thought a fifth is around occasionally.

  2. Lovely shots. This little band certainly has grown up. It has been wonderful to watch their progress. Something happy during a time of gloom and grief. Thank you.

    1. Thanks Aurora. They are certainly growing up fast. It will be interesting to see how things work out in the autumn when they start competing for territory with the adults.

  3. They are very adorable and even though still young, you can tell they will be nice looking foxes as grown ups 🙂
