Mark, yes the garden needed it. Most of our grass is very brown. I think I read that September had about 40% less rain than usual, possibly even less in the south.
Jill, she was happy just to sit in the drizzle and watch the world go by.
Adele, I was surprised she stayed out in the middle of the garden for so long. It sounds like your dog fox was taking the more sensible option.
