Good Afternoon Little Fox Cub (Photo Special)

Up until now most of my fox cub encounters have been under the cover of night, but foxes aren't strictly nocturnal and the temporary break in the (bad) weather brought one of the cubs out towards the end of the afternoon.

First a quick look round…

Then over to the sunny side of the garden…

And back to the other side again…

And one shot from this evening. Check out those big eyes!

The last couple of daylight shots had me anticipating him lying down for a little nap.

Adele, thanks! They have great ears, and they're still at the stage when things are quite in proper proportion.

dW, they are not quite bold enough yet to bed down in the garden when I'm there. If we get a good run of decent weather they might (I can hope).
