Green Lizard

Between periods of torrential rain there were just enough glimpses of sunshine to tempt the car park lizards out into the open, including one that until now had proved elusive. The green lizard. It’s much more skittish than the brown lizards that congregate on the wall but I was able to get quite close.

The more familiar brown lizard was also out.

Looking at you!

In case you’ve not been looking at my Fox of the Day you may have missed that the large male is becoming a little less cautious. Here’s one of him from a couple of nights ago.

Are you sure this is a green lizard and not a brown lizard with lot of moss? I mean after all that rain… πŸ˜€
We have a terrible weather at the moment, cold and rainy, no wonder they are calling it Junuary.

Good to have fox around again:)

Darko, it’s a ‘Limey’ for sure πŸ˜‰ Cold and wet here too most of the time. Mini-floods and to much else. We have a summer solstice full moon tonight (once in 70 years)! But I won’t see it. We’re shrouded in fog!
