It must be the time of year. Having, until the past week or so, had an incident/accident-free year with the foxes they are suddenly picking up injuries on an almost daily basis. The latest is Cheeky. Her hind leg seems much improved (the wound marks are still there but she's walking freely on the leg), but now she's injured her front left paw. The injury is new, possibly some time today (it didn't show on last night's trail cam footage). Not that it's preventing her getting around. Foxes are very adept at the three-legged hop.

That's all for tonight… more soon (you can be sure of that!)

  1. Hope it is not broken, though it looks a bit swollen :left:

  2. Darko, I hope so too. I'll try to see her later tonight (after the football is finished!)

  3. Erwin, they usually heal ok. It may just be a sprain.

  8. Mark, I've not seen her for a couple of days (poor weather and I've been busy), but I think she'll be fine. Will check a bit later to see if she's around.

  9. Oh dear. You'd think that they'd learn over time, but they never seem to!

  10. Adele, they can be so clumsy. Fortunately it's proved to be a short-lived injury. She's fine now.

  11. I Hope nature will do Is work……
