It must be the time of year. Having, until the past week or so, had an incident/accident-free year with the foxes they are suddenly picking up injuries on an almost daily basis. The latest is Cheeky. Her hind leg seems much improved (the wound marks are still there but she's walking freely on the leg), but now she's injured her front left paw. The injury is new, possibly some time today (it didn't show on last night's trail cam footage). Not that it's preventing her getting around. Foxes are very adept at the three-legged hop.

That's all for tonight… more soon (you can be sure of that!)

30 Sep 2010Mark, I've not seen her for a couple of days (poor weather and I've been busy), but I think she'll be fine. Will check a bit later to see if she's around.

1 Oct 2010Oh dear. You'd think that they'd learn over time, but they never seem to!

2 Oct 2010Adele, they can be so clumsy. Fortunately it's proved to be a short-lived injury. She's fine now.
