Leaping fox cub

These shots were taken early this morning (well early for me). The fox cub is hunting insects, no doubt making best use of all the practice with the apples. Note though that the leaps are very low and flat, not the kind of jump that might be used when hunting rodents. The first shot here could also qualify for a 'missed opportunity' series 😉

    I was about 20 feet away at most for these shots. So the penultimate shot is full frame at 70mm focal length.
