Apparently there's going to be an excellent lunar eclipse tonight. These are caused by the shadow of the Earth crossing the moon (Sun > Earth > Moon alignment). This one will be fully visible throughout Western Europe, and the totality will be seen further east and as far west as mid America.

Here's to a cloudless night!

  2. I've been nervously watching the sky all afternoon. Cloud, sun, cloud, sun, cloud, sun…I wish it would make up its mind :p Still, hopefully it will be clear for at least part of the eclipse.

  3. It just rained here in Bognor, clouds clearing to the northeast now and its clear yippee:D

I can see the moon now! its covered by a cloud, lol what a contradictory sentence! I can see its light so hopefully that cloud will go away shortly.

A cluod vaporizer would be handy lol:P
