Another quick post today. Two photos of marbled white butterflies seen early this morning at Seven Sisters, near Eastbourne. There were a good number of them flitting in the long grass (their favoured habitat), and just occasionally one would pause long enough to be photographed. More often than not they settle behind something so getting two clear images was something of a minor triumph.

    1. Andy, they are very pretty butterflies, medium to large (by our standards) and usually in groups.
