Well that was fun! The young fox cub (6-7 weeks is my best guess) was enjoying itself in the garden again this evening. I’d been waiting for about 40 minutes before it appeared, but it was well worth it. So far I’ve only seen this one cub, but I’ve often been wrong about how many there are. It’s still very early to see them going far from the den, so this is likely the boldest of the litter. We’re already getting just a little bit used to each other.

This will do nicely!

All being well, expect to see many more like this in the coming weeks!

  1. It looks like you’ve got a regular visitor, Paul … you must set a good table.

  2. Great photos here.

  3. Thanks all! I’m delighted we’ve got cubs again. They are so lovely to watch. Still early days with them, so I’m taking it slowly (and if you believe that….)
