The start of a new week, and we are just approaching the time of year when the early morning light comes into play. It’s not yet producing the brilliant golden light, but it’s a good start and certainly helps bring out the depth of colour in these photos of a grey heron I saw at Falmer pond today.

Lunchtime was rat-time as things go, and I have plenty of photos to work through. Just one tonight (I may post some more when I get a moment), but it’s at the high end of cute.
