I've finally sorted started my annual 365 (except this year it's 366) photo-a-day album. The album is linked from the sticky post at the top of my blog, but here's a direct link.

It's been a slow start to the year, but things have a way of picking up so I'm sure it won't be too difficult to complete. Today's photo is this one. It's a newt I spotted while waiting in vain for a fox to appear. I started by photographing the wood pile, and only then noticed the newt lurking in a corner.

  3. Sami, thanks. A slow start but it will pick up speed soon.

  4. Darko, thanks! It helps to get low on them.

  5. Easy to forget how tiny they are when they're in a photo!

  6. Adele, how true! Though this one was quite large as newts go.
