Sunny Day

Well we finally got some sun today and to celebrate I took the camera out for a lunchtime spin. The results are in the Birds Birds Birds gallery.

Plus, the young male fox put in a brief daytime appearance. I wasn't there at the time, but my OH says he looked really healthy. And i caught a brief glimpse of him again tonight. 🙂 I managed one distant photo, virtually the full length of the garden (so not a great shot). And not his best side either. But a fox photo is fox photo… And it's a while since I've managed one.

But to compensate for the graininess of that shot, here are three of my favourites from the birds collection

Magpie calling

At last, a pied wagtail in focus

Crow grooming

Trust me, I understand that completely 😉

I long for that sunny May Day last year when the Old Dogfox was dozing in the sunshine and made such easy photography 😆 Have you tried night pictures without flash yet?

Not yet, but I'll try when they get a bit more cooperative. They're all a bit skittish at the moment.

Thanks! I'm really beginning to appreciate the light for shooting these. Too long photographing foxes in the pitch of night 😉
