The pretty vixen showed up yesterday afternoon, out enjoying the sunshine. When she first appeared she was relaxed and friendly, though became quite excitable when a male fox briefly showed up (he successfully evaded he camera and only showed his face for a couple of seconds). These are some shots of Pretty.

She sat around and explored different corners.

Those shots were in the early part of the afternoon. She was back again later as the sun sank in the sky producing some rich red light.

  1. An excellent collection of shots, Paul! That last one is a knockout! Is it a crop?

    1. Full-frame! She’s very comfortable with us around (which is great as she’s pregnant so we should have cubs coming to visit in the next two or three months).

  2. These are stunning photos, of course it helps to have a knockout subject as you have in Pretty Vixen.

    1. Aurora, there’s a male following her around (I spotted him tonight), and she’s showing clear signs of carrying cubs. It’s looks like we could have another good year with them.

  3. She lives up to her name 🙂
