Eastbourne Pier

I was over in Eastbourne today, so here are a couple of photos of the local pier.

There were a few gulls lurking down on the beach, but other then that there was precious little to see.

Juvenile herring gull

A quiet day.

Yellow Legs

A short sequence today of the lesser black backed gull enjoying a dip in Falmer Pond, and showing off its distinctive yellow legs (possibly the easiest means of identifying this particular species of gull in the field).
