Territorial change

It's becoming increasingly clear that the young male has usurped the old male as lord of the garden. We haven't seen the old fella for about 10 days (he's due a dose of ivermectin), but the younger fox is more or less a daily visitor. He even spent some time in the garden this afternoon (I was at work… grrr).

I've added some of the latest photos to the Fox Watch 2007 album, but my favourite is this shot. The odd look on his face is the result of catching him mid 'shake'.

I think, here he looks like a baby-fox. I love your new photos.
But I agree, this one is something special.

He looks so sweet 😀 hope the dog fox comes for his dose of medication soon. If it snows tonight get a picture of them in the snow is possible.

Hmm…interesting (and cute shot :)) but a bit inconvenient, given the mange situation. I wonder if the territory ownership will flip back again if the older fox regains his health?
