Well the old dog fox turned up again tonight, and again was mainly left alone by the cubs. The one youngster who did show up kept his distance most of the time, and we only witnessed one brief confrontation of face to face hissing. The old fox retreated, but only to investigate other parts of the garden. He spent some time marking territory, but did come down to the front for photos (and a brief video shoot).
