Just a couple of short, full colour, clips from the trail camera taken over the past three days. This is the nearest I’m getting to seeing the foxes at the moment, though part of that is my reluctance to stand outside and freeze.
With a bit of luck the weather will improve in the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile the Fox of the Day collection is up to 2773 photos, with the most recent entries being various fox cub shots such as this one from last summer.
Camera note: fox cub photo taken with the Canon 7D and EF70-300mm 4.5-5.6 DO IS lens. Video from the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD

7 Apr 2013Daylight foxes – well, I'm seeing plenty from the train. I wonder if this is a reflection on the weather; voles are supposed to be more diurnal when it's below freezing.

10 Apr 2013Darko, that was last year… the year of rain. They got very used to it.

10 Apr 2013Jiří thanks! Yes, they probably would if they could, but there aren't many hens around here.

10 Apr 2013Adele, it's been very quiet overall with foxes. I did spot one on my drive home today. I may have more success as the weather warms up.
