One of the benefits of keeping a blog is that it is an easy way to maintain a diary of new sightings. Here's the first adult toad seen in the garden. Not the first this year… the first ever. The only previous sighting was of a tiny youngster last autumn.

I was really pleased to see the toad. So much more intelligent than frogs!
