We're into a phase of leaden skies, and no light worthy of the name. I've reverted to using my 100-400 lens which has image stabilization and can cope with the lower shutter speeds. Even so, to help it along I'm trying to find some 'light' subjects that will offer some sort of help. White ducks are perfect for that, so that's more or less all I photographed this morning.

  4. Adele, your white deer was a superb sighting indeed.

  5. Beautiful! You always have such clear, detailed shots.

  6. Lois, thanks, though if you've seen my very latest you'll know that I found a way of losing all the detail 🙂

  7. LOL … already saw them.
I like these a lot … ducks always amuse me.

  8. dW, it's somehow easier not to worry about getting pin-sharp shots but these white ducks are very pretty so I may continue to make an exception for them.
