Who’s a lucky vixen then…

A very brief sighting of the nicked-ear vixen tonight. Given her evident success at hunting I'm not too surprised that we've seen slightly less of her in this garden lately.

Mick, how true. We had lots of kids knocking at the door tonight. I'm not sure they've got the hang of looking scary…. they were all smiles in their anxiety to get treats!

Cynthia. She was showing off I reckon, and wasn't about to hang around too long in case I tried to steal her 'kill'. 😆

I don't think she'll ever become hungry with her talent!

Tervicz, it doesn't work though. Here she is trying the same trick last April.

Adele, it's a risk I guess, but as long as she can still fence hop I doubt she'll worry too much about the extra pounds.

Lois, looks like a lamb chop to me but I could be mistaken.

Mark, I doubt luck has much to do with it. Someone must be buying them for her!!! Halloween is always a bit of a last minute rush, remembering the doorbell will start ringing. It usually means a quick trip to the shop to get some of those 'family pack' mini choc bars. We had a few left over though

I was wondering about the prey item too- hope it's not an NZ lamb chop 😀

I reckon a chunky Sussex lamb judging by the size of it. This is a sheep-farming county (really!).
