Today is World AIDS Day.

All photographs taken at the University of Sussex, England. Full sequence here.

Camera note: I used the EF17-40mm f/4L USM lens mounted on a Manfrotto 458B Neotec tripod. The exposures varied, but were all lengthy. Settings were manual, and I used the live preview feature on the Canon 40D to frame/focus the images. It's the first time I've attempted unlit night shots, but this seemed an appropriate event to try things out.

Nicely captured Words
Adele, thanks. It made a real change to work with long exposures and a non-moving subject. I should do more of it really!
Heh, sounds like my fox photography of late! At least you can get away with using the flash with yours when they come late at night. I either get bad eyeshine or surprised foxes if I try that 🙁 But I would like to try taking some city photos at night sometime.
Wonderful shots! Very well done.
Adele, yes city landscapes are perfect fo this sort of thing.
Lois, thanks!
