I would have got them up sooner but put my PC into a chkdsk run last night which lasted about 5 hours! That, plus the late night downtime, conspired against posting anything. Better late than never though. The photos are all in the <a href=\"http:\/\/my.opera.com\/Words\/albums\/show.dml?id=398616\" target=\"_blank\">November Birds<\/a> album, with numerous additional shots.<\/p>\n<p>The stars of the show were the longtailed tits, a small bird that I see frequently but have very rarely managed to photograph. They were flitting around ceaselessly but for once I had a good vantage point. One interesting point about this species is that it functions in an extended family group, with the adults sharing parental duties.
