A few fulmars were about, but it was the smaller birds that really caught my attention. The rock pipits were dancing along the cliff walls feeding their young (hidden deep in the cliff plants), and pied wagtails were flitting between the cliff and the promenade.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/pipit_3105102270.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/pwt_3105102220.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/pipit_3105102287.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/pwt_3105102550.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Both species were gathering large numbers of grubs, but occasionally the larger pipit resorted to theft&#8230;<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/pwt_pipit_3105102554.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/pwt_pipit_3105102555.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>As ever the garden has its own live-in attractions.
