They seem to have appeared from nowhere (and I doubt they flew to the pond) so they are either juveniles who have been very successfully lurking in the shadows for the past few months, or abandoned domestic fowl. Whichever, they are very pretty indeed.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/white_duck_1709124112.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>A more familiar face was leering out from the tree in the middle of the pond.
